Using the tools

ToolPDF provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDF and image files. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

Your responsibilities

• Only process files you own or have permission to modify.
• Don’t use the tools to remove protections you aren’t authorized to remove, or to create forged or misleading documents.
• Keep your original files. Always check the output before relying on it.

Signatures

The Sign PDF tool places an image of a signature on a document. It does not create a certificate-based digital signature or verify identity. You are responsible for deciding whether this kind of signature is appropriate for your document.

No warranty

The tools are provided “as is”. While we test them carefully, we can’t guarantee that every file will be processed correctly or that output will exactly match the original. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the tools.

Changes

We may update these terms or change the tools. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
