Your files are processed entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers, and nothing is kept after you close or reload the page.

How to use Compress Image

  1. Choose one or more images.
  2. Lower the quality and, for big photos, reduce the dimensions too — that usually saves the most.
  3. Select Compress images. The size before and after is shown.

Good to know

  • PNG output is lossless, so it often won’t shrink much — choose JPG or WebP for real savings.
  • Lower quality introduces visible artifacts; check the result before using it.
  • Image metadata is not kept.

Frequently asked questions

What quality setting should I use?

Around 70% is a good balance for photos. Go lower only if you really need a smaller file.

Why is my PNG not smaller?

PNG is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP, or reducing the dimensions, gives much bigger savings.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Compression runs in your browser.
