Privacy Policy

Summary: the files you open in our tools are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. We don’t see, store or share your documents.

Your files

All tools on ToolPDF run as JavaScript in your web browser. When you choose a file, your browser reads it from your device, processes it locally, and saves the result back to your device. File contents, file names, signatures and passwords are not transmitted to us or to any third party.

Files exist only in your browser’s memory while the page is open. Closing or reloading the page discards them. We have no copy to delete because we never receive one.

The site’s Content Security Policy restricts pages to loading resources only from our own domain, which technically prevents the tool pages from sending data elsewhere.

Information collected automatically

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. This information never includes the contents of your files.

Cookies and analytics

We currently do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

We do not use third-party conversion services or analytics. The libraries and fonts the tools use are served from our own domain and run on your device.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we don’t collect files or accounts, we typically hold no personal information beyond short-lived server logs. Contact details for requests will be published on our Contact page.

Changes

If we change how data is handled — for example, by adding server-side conversion, analytics or advertising — we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date before the change takes effect.
